Plastic & Metal Tags: Which Material Should I Choose?
As you can see, Label Source's identification tags are available in many different materials. If you are unsure as to what kind of tag you need, allow us to explain the properties of each one:
Brass Tags
Brass tags are durable, corrosion-resistant, and non-magnetic. They are good conductors (both electrically and thermally), and they have low spark emission properties. Our brass tags are available in six different shapes: circle, triangle, square, pentagon, hexagon, and octagon.
Plastic Tags
Our plastic tags are made of tear- and crack-resistant polypropylene. These tags are lightweight, but with high tensile strength, ensuring that they are still extremely robust. Various colours are available, and customers can choose either circular or rectangular tags.
Aluminium Tags
Made using soft-faced aluminium, these lightweight metal tags are corrosion-resistant, non-toxic, and non-magnetic. Three different shapes are available (circle, square, rectangle), and the tags can be dyed if colour-coding is required.
Steel Tags
Stainless steel is strong, chemical/stain-resistant, and suitable for a wide range of operating temperatures. We offer several different steel grades, including marine grade (316) and galvanised. We can also supply paper-covered and paper-coated metal tags made of stainless steel.
Label Source's blank tags can be used in warehouses, factories, commercial premises, dispatch offices, and many other working environments. If you have any specific requirements, please get in touch to discuss your needs with Label Source's sales team.
