We supply electrical equipment labels for portable appliance testing (PAT) and other inspection purposes. Certified PAT testers can use these self-adhesive stickers to identify the test status of almost any electrical equipment, including:
- Appliances
- Instruments
- Power tools
- Machinery
- Electronic devices
Our equipment labelling range contains a label for every eventuality, including 'Passed' labels, 'Failed' labels, and a variety of of other designs that certified inspection personnel may find useful.
Most of the PAT labels in this section give space for a signature and date; some products also allow the service engineer to give additional information (e.g. why is the appliance unsafe for use?) or to specify a date for the next inspection.
Please select a product from the list below. If you cannot find an appropriate label for your requirements, please give us a call on 0800 3761 693 or email sales@labelsource.co.uk - we will respond as quickly as possible.
PAT Labels - How Are They Used?
PAT stands for portable appliance testing. In the UK and several other countries, some appliances are required to undergo regular PAT tests to ensure their continued safe use.
These tests are carried out by PAT-certified service engineers, who use our self-adhesive equipment labels to identify whether or not an appliance has been tested, as well as whether that appliance passed or failed. While safety is the main concern for electrical inspectors, the labels listed on this page can also be used to assess the mechanical and functional capabilities of a given appliance.
Our electrical equipment labels can be used for annual/periodic checks, as well as for maintenance and repair purposes. To place your order, select a label from the list above or contact us for more information.
