Gas Cylinder Tags are used to protect workers, and help identify the content of cylinders. These inform the workforce whether the cylinders are full, empty or status tag (full, in use, empty). These tags assist the safe transport, handling and storage and maintenance of the gases, which are stored under pressure in the cylinders. These can be used on a range of different gases including, oxygen, nitrogen, argon, carbon dioxide and many more.

The high quality, sturdy tags can be used in a diverse number of industries including dispensing beverages, chemical processing, industrial applications, medical and much more. These are used to ensure a safe working environment. We provide a range of associated products from our hazard warning diamond range which includes compressed gas and non-flammable compressed gas, and GHS gases under pressure hazard label.

Our ranges of tags are diverse and can be used for a number of different things such as labelling cylinders, canisters, or pressure receptacles containing LPG.

Label Source does not only supply a range of blank valve tags, we also have a wide range of valve marking products for your requirements. Valve marking tags can be used for marking and identifying different pipes and valves in many different industries. These come in different materials ranging from brass tags which are strong and durable to plastic tags which are solvent, acid and alkali resistant and are ideal for internal use.

Our wide range of Valve tags includes serial number tags in brass, plastic, aluminium and coloured aluminium. Label Source valve tags are also available in custom printed tags available in brass or plastic. These custom printed tags are made for your requirements, with special numbering, special text, or a combination of both.  Both of these Serial number tags and Custom printed tags are suitable to mark valves, pressure regulators, drainage points, control levers, actuators, process plant and production equipment. We also supply valve control tags, to be used to identify if the valve is closed or open.

All of these valve tags are ideal for industrial use, factories, large companies and offices, to mark and identify pipe and valves. Identification on valves may be needed in different areas, as many types of valves need ongoing repairs and maintenance, and in some cases identification is required on several parts of the valve—on the valve body, on the bottom of the valve, or underside.

WEEE Directive is the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment placed in the EU covered by the scope regulations.  These are the requirements on manufacturers, importers and distributors, to create a means for consumers to recycle electrical equipment, by collecting, treating and recovering relevant products under the scope of WEEE regulations.

By following these regulations, will help the environment as this will prevent electrical products and equipment being distributed into landfills, polluting the environment. The equipment can then be broken up and reused for manufacturing other equipment. The 2013 regulations have now been extended to cover photovoltaic panels (from the 1st January 2014), while other categories such as luminaires have been re-classified.

Our WEEE Labels are used for marking the equipment, indicating the correct environmental disposal of the products.  The ranges of labels are used to inform people of the precise method and means of disposal. These come in a range of different colours and quantities. We can also customise your labels incorporating the WEEE symbol with other product information.

If you are confused about the CE marking legislation, then look no further. We have all the information that you will need for CE marking.

CE labels are to be displayed on many products that comply with the EU safety, health and environmental requirements. These are placed on many products that are traded on the single market in the EEA (European Economic Area).

When CE labels are displayed on products it shows and reassures manufacturers that these products have been checked, and meet the EU safety, health and environment requirements.  These can then allow free movement of products within the European market. This also applies to products manufactured in Third Countries and are sold in the EEA and in Turkey.

What products need CE marking?

Products needing CE marking are those subject to specific directives that provide for the CE marking are required to have the CE label on them. This does not mean that the product was made and manufactured in the EEA, however states that the product is assessed before being placed on the market.

CE marking applies to a range of products from electrical equipment to toys, civil explosives and medical devices. Some products are excluded from CE marking such as chemical, pharmaceutical and cosmetic and foodstuff products.

CE Labelling is mandatory in the EU, on products included in the scope of one or more of the new approach directives. Some of these directives cover products such as, medical devices, radio and telecommunications terminal equipment, marine equipment, pressure equipment, non-automatic weighing instruments They are used to show that the product is verified with the regulations of the European Conformity, which means the product can be sold in the EEA (European Economic Area).  This also applies to products manufactured in other countries which are sold in the EEA. These labels and nameplates state that the product has been assessed and is fully compliant, before being placed on the market.

Label Source supply a range of CE labels and nameplates, available in self- adhesive vinyl (with a clear protective surface) and also in aluminium. These labels and nameplates are rub test compliant, scratch and chemical resistance and waterproof. Some of the CE labelling products include WEEE and RoHS symbols (for product recycling).
