If you would like to create high-quality label designs from your own home or office, our selection of laser printer labels is ideal for this purpose. Suitable for use with laser and inkjet printers as well as photocopier machines, our die cut labels provide you with an A4 sheet of adhesive paper on which you can print your own designs.

The labels come in a wide selection of shapes and sizes, to suit the requirements of your design and the puropse of the label. They also come in a choice of either permanent or removable adhesive, depending on the application your label is required for. The permanent label is particularly effective for anti-tamper purposes, as it provides added security to ensure that is is problematic to remove. The removable adhesive is more suited to more marking purposes, and is also the better choice should you wish to avoid excess residue being left behind once the label is removed.

Our laser printer labels are ideal for the following applications:

  • address information
  • shipping/dispatch details
  • filing
  • administration

If you would like to present information in a clear and professional format while maintaining control over the design yourself, these labels are ideal for ensuring that you have the freedom to choose your design, without compromising on quality.

Since its introduction in 1997, the ISO 780 standard (and the subsequent updates) has established a range of graphic symbols for use on packages within handling and storage. These symbols were introduced so that language barriers causing any damage or loss through mishandling could be overcome.

Within our product ranges we have several options for labels, to be attached to packages, and for stencils to directly mark packages. The labels are available in a variety of sizes, produced in  a selection of materials, some are for indoor use, whilst others are for both indoor and outdoor applications.

The graphic symbols include: fragile; this way up; keep dry; use no hooks; sling here; the centre of gravity; top heavy; do not roll; keep away from cold; keep away from sunlight; temperature limits; do not stack; stacking limitations; no hand carts; no fork lifts; protect from radiation; clamp here; use handling aids; electrostatic charges; do not drop; do not damage package barrier; do not freeze; keep frozen; keep refrigerated; and perishable.

Use of these highly visible markers or stencil systems can provide clear guidance to handlers of packages, to prevent loss, damage, custom fines or injury to handlers caused by inadequate identification marking.

Our ranges include;

Shipping transit labels; Packaging labels; Heavy duty packaging labels; Packaging handling labels; Dispatch labels; Packaging tapes; and Packing and shipping stencils.

With Christmas practically a fortnight away, your business may well be in the middle of a very busy period right now. It's not uncommon for sales to triple or even quadruple during the holiday season, and if you're posting items to your customers, this means that you'll be sending a lot of packages!

The chaos of the Christmas rush may leave you wishing for a way to speed up your shipping process, but it's crucial to get your packaging right at this time of year. It may be a chore, but each and every one of your customers is expecting a top-quality service, and if your products are being purchased as gifts for somebody else, it's even more important than usual to make sure that everything arrives in one piece.

So keep your packaging standards high, and don't forget the packaging labels!

Packaging labels

These sturdy, self-adhesive labels are ideal for marking the packages that you send this December. If you are dispatching a fragile item or anything with specific handling requirements, it is imperative that you affix an appropriate label to the item's packaging. For example, if you sell items that are made of glass (or contain glass elements), you might consider using this label when you send them:

Another example: if you are sending a group of items, and you want to ensure that they are not separated, use this label to tell the courier how many packages are in the set:

Note that these highly-visible red labels are just one of the Packaging products we sell. Here are some other useful items that you can purchase from Label Source:

Packaging is used to enclose and protect products which are being sent off for distribution. To communicate with the distributer or receiver of the products, packaging labels should be placed on the product packaging. This should be done to ensure there is no damage to the person or to the product. These labels or tapes inform people how heavy, light and fragile the package may be. The labels can also inform the person on how the package should be handled. This can then give them a rough idea of what the item may be, to ensure no damage to themselves or product.

Label Source provides a range of packaging labels, tapes and stencils in a self-Adhesive Vinyl material. All these labels comply with internationally recognisable symbols and are available in a variety of sizes.

Our packaging labels are made of self-adhesive vinyl, supplied in rolls of 500. These rolls are perfect for companies who frequently send out packages which need to be labelled. This includes signs stating how fragile or heavy the goods are and if they need to be handled with care. The labels inform how the goods need to be placed and which end the packaging should be opened. We provide packaging labels informing people if there is glass within the package or any sharp objects. These should be used to inform the distributer or receiver to be careful when opening.

Label Source provides a range of Shipping labels and heavy duty packaging labels. The labels are waterproof, abrasion and chemical resistant. These large format, self-adhesive paper labels include pictograms for fragile, handle with care, this way up, keep dry, protect from heat or sunlight, do not stack, lift cart here, no use of fork lifts, sharp blades or hand hooks, static sensitive, temperature (ambient, chilled and frozen), and do not drop.
